Jenny Parkhurst | Director of Performance and Events

Jenny Parkhurst comes to the Peoria Riverfront Museum with a wealth of experience in the Performance and Event industry. Since her arrival in February of 2023, she has expanded the community partnership engagement for the museum, and is developing a new performance initiative called Museum Plus, bringing national, regional and local talent to the museum to further enhance current exhibitions.

Jenny previously served as Executive Director of Performing Arts for the KDB Group, taking a lead role in the $11 million renovation of the Scottish Rite Theatre in downtown Peoria. She conceived and implemented all programming, entertainment and concerts at “The Scotty,” and did the same for KDB’s sister venue, the Betty Jayne Brimmer Center for the Arts in Peoria Heights.

As a life-long Peorian, Jenny has volunteered countless hours to local arts and community organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Clonmel, Peoria Women’s Music Community Collaborative and Corn Stock Theatre. Jenny is the original founder of the Corn Stock For Kids youth theatre program at Corn Stock, now in its twenty-sixth year.

“I’m honored to be a part of the Peoria Riverfront Museum, bringing diverse talent and innovative programming that enriches the patron experience.”
